Importing System Reports

IMPORTING SYSTEM REPORTS

 

Follow the below steps to import a new or updated System Report. This function would be used to immediately access an updated report or to share custom reports.

 

1.       Go to Browse > Reports or on the ribbon bar go to the Reports tab and click the Reports button.

2.       This will pull up the department workspace which will display reports utilized/added by your department.

3.       Click the Import Design button.

4.       Browse your computer to locate the saved [SYSTEM REPORT].fpsf file to be imported.

5.       The selected report will now appear in the workspace under the Report Category as selected when the report was written. The default name will also include “ – Imported” to designate that it was imported.

6.       Highlight the imported report and click the Preview button.

7.       The report layout will now appear for previewing.

8.       On the right hand side, Report Filters allows for use of a pre-built filter or to build a new filter.

NOTE: Quick Report is the equivalent of running the report with no filter. This could be a time consuming process to run or generate many pages with some reports, as they will return all data.

9.       After the desired filter has been selected/built, click the Preview Report button above the Report Filters area to generate the report and apply the selected filter.
