Resetting Own Password

RESETTING OWN PASSWORD

 

This document outlines the steps for users to reset their own password. To follow these steps, the user must know their assigned User Name and Password. Should the user not know this information, he or she must contact an Administrator within their agency to have the password reset.

 

1.       On the ribbon bar, go to the Settings Tab.

2.       Click the Reset Password ribbon bar button.

3.       On the Set Password form, type in the desired password.

4.       Password requirements will display in red on the right side of the screen based on the password strength preference set by your agency.

5.       Re-enter the desired password in the Confirm Password field. This must match the Password entered and cursor must leave the field for validation to occur.

6.       Show Normal Text can be checked to display the types Password and Confirm Password values.

7.       Click Save in the ribbon bar or use the Save hot key to save the newly entered password.
