Setting Up iOS Devices to Access FPWeb WildFire

1.      First, go to the App Store and download the Microsoft Remote Desktop App. It will look similar to the below.

2.      After downloading the app, launch it and click the (+) sign in the upper right corner.

3.      Click Desktop.

4.      The following screen will appear.

5.      Click PC Name and enter the following:  fp.fireprogramsweb.com:4400

6.      Click User Account then select Add User Account. This will allow you to store the RDP credentials so you won’t have to enter them every time you launch the software.

7.      Enter your RDP Credentials supplied by FirePrograms from the email we send out when WildFire is setup. When finished entering the credentials, make sure to click on Save in the upper right-hand corner. Here’s an example:

Text Box: fpcloud\

8.      Now, from the Desktop menu, click on Additional Options.

9.      In the following screen, use the Friendly Name field to assign what you will call the RDP connection, such as: WildFire, WF, FirePrograms, etc. Just click on the field, enter a name and click on Done in the upper right-hand corner. Then click on the back button (the one with yellow square around it below).

10.   Now you’ll be back at the following screen, click the Save button.

11.   You should now be back at the Remote Desktop home screen and you should see the newly created icon to launch WildFire.

Click on the new icon to launch WildFire and as long as the credentials entered are correct,

it will load to the black FirePrograms login screen where you enter your WildFire login credentials.
